Dr. Lea Al Matny is a licensed Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist at SeeThru Reports and Clinical Education Specialist at Carestream Dental. She attended the University of Texas Health in San Antonio (UTHSA) where she received both a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a Master’s in Dental Science. She is a reviewer for Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology (OOOO) and actively involved in multiple committees at the American Association of Oral MaxillofacialRadiology (AAOMR).

This course is designed to help you recognize when and how to implement three-dimensional imaging. We will focus on approaching cases in a comprehensive manner and establishing an accurate diagnosis before developing a treatment plan. We will also review different cases varying from implant planning, odontogenic and non-odontogenic lesions, root resorption, and fracture cases.

Educational Objectives:
1. Understand the impact of CBCT on diagnosis and treatment planning.
2. Most common anatomical variants and incidental findings
3. Manipulate CBCT scans efficiently using appropriate views on imaging software.
